Whumf goes the sound of Dia stumbling right into Mari's arms, sending them both a teetering step back. She's far more graceful than this, of course, even with the unpredictability of Mari's whims taken into account -- but with her pants halfway down her thighs, the attempted twirl has her legs tangling clumsily together, with only Mari to block her fall. A small mercy compared to landing face-first on the floor, but perfectly mortifying in its own right.
"M-Mari-san!" she reprimands, pulling back to straighten herself. Her thumbs hook sheepishly beneath the waist of her pants -- it hadn't occurred to her how utterly ridiculous she must look until this very moment.
"I should... take this off," she concludes, awkward. Well. No smooth way of going about this now: averting her gaze, Dia wiggles one leg free, then the other, focusing only on making the process as swift as humanly possible. When finished, she quickly folds the garment into a neat little square, and leaves it after a moment's thought atop the armrest.
And she clears her throat. "Let's walk normally, please."
