If she doesn't answer it, it'll just ring again and again until she picks it up, so leaving it hanging for too long is an exercise in futility. Hell, after a text like that, it may be a surprise that she settled on a phone call instead of just coming straight over to her house, but, the fact of the matter stands, and if Dia's goal was to get Mari invested, well, consider it a complete success.
